Hospitality operator Plaza Premium Group has officially opened its new Aerotel transit hotel in Terminal 1 (T1) at Changi Airport in Singapore.

The hotel is located near the boarding gates in T1 and provides transit passengers with a luxurious space in which to recuperate between flights. The 70-room facility has been stylishly decorated using timber, antique brick and high-quality grey and aqua fabrics, and each room has been furnished with luxury bedding, shower facilities and complimentary skincare products. Selected rooms also have views of the airport’s runways.

Plaza claims that Aerotel Singapore is the only transit hotel in the world to be equipped with an outdoor swimming pool, jacuzzi, pool-side bar and gym. The hotel offers flexible booking hours with prices ranging from S$55 (US$40) to S$135 (US$100) for a minimum stay of six hours. Guests can also enjoy complimentary wi-fi access during their stay.

Song Hoi-see, founder and CEO of Plaza Premium Group, said, “Aerotel Singapore is our first airport transit hotel that meets the demand of transit passengers by promising comfortable airport accommodation, swimming and gym facilities, and convenient booking hours, bringing them a brand new home-away-from-home experience in Changi. By offering a first class Aerotel service at economy prices, we are confident that this wonderful facility for transit travelers will also help improve the yield of airline flights using Changi Airport as their transit hub.”
