Atlanta-based food and beverage (F&B) operator Concessions International (CI) has partnered with online technology developer Grab to enable passengers at five US airports to pre-order meals from a variety of restaurants.

The collaboration will expand Grab’s presence across Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta, Denver, Dallas/Fort Worth (DFW), and Miami international airports as well as Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport. In Atlanta alone, travelers will be able to use Grab to pre-order from Fly Burger, LottaFrutta, Café Tazza, Paschal’s, Fresh 2 Order and Dos Equis F&B offerings.

The on-demand mobile ordering platform leverages users’ travel information to allow travelers to view menus, place orders, pay, and set pick-up times. The Grab app also provides other travel resources, such as terminal maps and gate-to-gate navigation.

Basil Banko, vice president of IT for CI, said, “We love how the Grab app is focused on providing an airport-wide solution for mobile ordering. We are looking forward to the Grab partnership as we begin our implementation of the system.”

CI currently has operations in eight airports across the USA, serving airport passengers with local, regional and national concepts.
