Global workspace provider Regus has opened its latest Regus Express business lounge at the Hilton Hotel at Manchester Airport. It is only the second hotel location opened by Regus and provides travelers with a drop-in business lounge with individual workstations called Thinkpods, comfortable seats with laptop stands and phone chargers, as well as free wi-fi. There are also several high-specification meeting rooms available to book by the hour.

Richard Morris, UK CEO at Regus, said, “The opening of our second hotel location testifies to the need for bespoke and dedicated business spaces that match today’s flexible workforce. We know that more and more people are working flexibly, instead of the traditional 9-5 in the office, and we are seeing month-on-month growth in interest in Regus Express as retailers, transport operators and universities all switch on to the commercial opportunity presented by the mobile work and business travel market. We are confident that this latest site will prove popular with business travelers and local firms alike.”

The launch of Regus Express at Hilton Manchester Airport is part of a wider rollout of Regus ‘third place’ locations around the UK. Each lounge is designed to offer a more professional and motivating environment than a home office, as well as a more cost-effective alternative to a traditional fixed office.

Travelers can access the lounge for either £5 (US$8) per hour or £10 (US$16) per day. Regus Businessworld membership costs £49 (US$77) per month, and provides drop-in access to the business lounges at each of Regus’ 320 UK locations.
