Danish fashion retailer Day Birger et Mikkelsen has opened a new flagship store in Terminal 3 (T3) at Copenhagen Airport in Denmark.

It is the second Day store to open at the airport and will sell a wide range of clothing, accessories and furniture from Day’s Main Line, 2nd Day and Day Home collections. Day’s previous store at the airport will now be converted into a Day Accessories shop offering items such as scarves, bags and jewelry.

Keld Mikkelsen, founder and chairman of Day Birger et Mikkelsen, said, “We find inspiration from all the places in the world we visit and it shows in all our collections. That made the opening of the large Day flagship store at the center of the shopping area at Copenhagen Airport a logical step as it brings us close to where it all started. We have created an atmosphere in our store that will inspire travelers and make them feel welcome in our unique Day universe.”

Lise Ryevad, director, airport sales, at Copenhagen Airports, the airport operator, said, “We are proud to be the first location of the brand-new Day concept store, a place where people’s senses are awakened at several levels. It is important to us to give our passengers an exciting experience every time they visit Copenhagen Airport, and the new Day store very much lives up to that objective.”
