Airport lounge specialist No.1 Traveller has launched a new partnership with UAE carrier Etihad Airways to welcome guests to its independent lounge at Edinburgh Airport in Scotland.

Etihad currently runs non-stop daily flights between Edinburgh and Abu Dhabi in the UAE, and now all Etihad Business Class guests and Etihad Guest Platinum, Gold and Silver cardholders will be given full access to No.1’s facilities. This includes a selection of freshly prepared hot and cold food, a tended bar, bistro table service, unlimited wi-fi access, and a range of newspapers and magazines. No.1 Edinburgh is easily accessible for departing passengers and is located after security, opposite gate 10.

Mark Woodcock, commercial director at No.1 Traveller, said, “Etihad Airways continues to pioneer luxury aviation with its award-winning onboard products, from the Economy Smart seat, to the Business Studio, First Class Apartments and even The Residence by Etihad. It’s because of this dedication to offering exceptional service standards that we’re delighted to be partnering at Edinburgh Airport. Our high-quality lounge facilities will ensure all Etihad’s guests can enjoy a premium experience before they fly.”

James Harrison, general manager, Etihad Airways UK, said, “Etihad Airways is delighted to work with No.1 Traveller at Edinburgh Airport as we strive to bring the best experience to our guests. With more than 110 direct destinations – and hundreds more through our partners – we can connect travelers departing from Edinburgh with many cities across the six continents of the world, for business or for leisure. We want to ensure our guests’ lounge experience matches the awarding-winning experience that we offer in the air.”
