International Currency Exchange (ICE) has taken over monetary exchange services at Halifax Stanfield International Airport in Nova Scotia following Travelex’s decision to run down its contract. ICE will provide the same services during the same hours as Travelex making the transition seamless.

Joyce Carter, president and CEO for Halifax International Airport Authority (HIAA), the operator for the airport, said, “We are delighted to welcome ICE to our airport community. ICE has an impressive history of providing travelers with excellent service and we are confident they will more than fulfill the needs of our passengers.”

In addition to a wide range of currency exchange and buyback services, ICE also offers Click & Collect – a free online foreign currency reservation service. Customers can choose from over 25 currencies to be collected at a convenient date and location with no advance payment required.

Louis-Philippe Roberge, vice president Eastern Canada for ICE, said, “ICE is Canada’s most renowned foreign exchange brand and we are very pleased to offer our services at Halifax Stanfield International Airport. We’re especially excited to bring our ultra-convenient Click & Collect service to Halifax Stanfield.”
