Italian restaurant and sports shop opens at Pittsburgh International

Concession operator Airmall USA has opened a new restaurant and retail outlet in the Center Core at Pittsburgh International Airport in Pennsylvania, USA. The new offerings include Villa Italian Kitchen covering an area of 750ft2, and FlyBy Sports covering a total area of 1,135ft2. Additionally, Johnston & Murphy and Charley’s Philly Steaks have reopened after undergoing remodels.

Jay Kruisselbrink, senior vice president for Airmall USA, said, “Last year, we unveiled a US$10m renovation to our Center Core that greatly enhanced the retail experience at the airport. Following those renovations, we are striving to continue offering travelers a wide variety of options for shopping and dining, and are pleased to announce the openings of these new units. At Pittsburgh International Airport, we’ve truly created a destination for travelers looking to shop and dine on the go.”

FlyBy Sports will offer shoppers the latest athletic apparel, footwear and fitness accessories from a wide variety of brands, while Villa Fresh Italian Kitchen will serve authentic old world pizza, homemade pasta, classic Italian entrées, salads and specialty items.
