Sydney Airport in Australia has announced that fashion brands Kate Spade New York, Michael Kors and TUMI will be opening in the new luxury precinct in Terminal 1 (T1).

Due for completion in the first half of 2016, the T1 luxury precinct is part of the ongoing improvement program for the international terminal at Sydney Airport and will include 13 global designer brands, some of which will be Australian firsts.

Glyn Williams, general manager, retail, Sydney Airport, said, “By welcoming Kate Spade New York, Michael Kors and TUMI to T1 we are creating an enviable luxury shopping opportunity for our international passengers, with some of the most recognized brands in the world. T1 will be the only airport destination in Australia where passengers can shop for these flagship brands.

“The new luxury precinct within T1 Departures will soon showcase a vast selection of premium brands with new and on-trend luxury products and accessories across fashion, technology and lifestyle. We look forward to announcing the rest of the retail line-up very soon.”
