The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) has added an additional TSA Pre lane at Pittsburgh International Airport (PIT) in Pennsylvania.

The new Pre lane, located at PIT’s alternate checkpoint, will be open from 4am to 6pm daily, and the main checkpoint will remain open from 4am to 8pm every day.

Travelers who wish to sign up for Precheck can do so at the co-located application site for TSA Pre and US Customs and Border Protection’s (CBP) global entry program at PIT. The joint TSA and CBP center offers passengers in the Pittsburgh-area the option to choose a program that best fits their individual travel needs. TSA Pre and global entry aims to provide an improved passenger experience, while enhancing security and increasing system-wide efficiencies.

TSA will continue to incorporate random security measures throughout the airport and no individual will be guaranteed expedited screening.
