Airline operator JetBlue has officially unveiled its new state-of-the-art self-service lobby in Terminal 5 (T5) at John F Kennedy International Airport (JFK) in New York.

The new lobby features 75% more floor space with more than 70 self-service check-in kiosks and 12 bag-drop stations, enabling passengers to check-in without ever having to wait in line. Each check-in kiosk has also been fitted with handheld scanning devices, bag tag printers and LED lighting to help improve the user experience. Roving lobby greeters will also be on hand to assist customers.

The new T5 lobby was created in partnership with airport operator Ports Authority of New York and New Jersey as well as architects Gensler and kiosk manufacturers Embross. T5 is JetBlue’s dedicated terminal at the airport.
