Abu Dhabi Airports achieves ISO standards for information security

Abu Dhabi Airports, the operator for Abu Dhabi International Airport in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), has announced it has achieved the International Organization for Standardization’s ISO 27001:2013 accreditation for all of its IT systems. The airport is the first in the UAE to receive the certification. The company also successfully re-certified its broader suite of IT services to the ISO/IEC 20000 level.

Mohamed Mubarak Al Mazrouei, CEO of Abu Dhabi Airports, said, “This new achievement exemplifies Abu Dhabi Airports’ focus on innovation and commitment to embedding best practices across our entire operations including the iconic and ambitious Midfield Terminal Building.

“We take customer service very seriously and it is our commitment to providing our clients with the best possible services at the highest possible standards that drives our success.”

Abu Dhabi Airports currently provides a wide range of IT services to more than a hundred customers operating at Abu Dhabi International. These services include office and airport IT services, data center services and professional business services, which are provided within Abu Dhabi Airports’ campus.
