BBC to showcase high-speed bag-tagging solution at Passenger Terminal Expo

Norwegian-based BB Computerteknikk (BBC), a supplier of baggage handling control systems and check-in solutions, will unveil the latest features of its Tagomat self-service bag-tag console at this year’s Passenger Terminal Expo in Amsterdam, on March 14-16.

The Tagomat is part of BBC’s Off-Airport strategy and enables passengers to check in at home before being sent a QR code to their mobile devices. They can then scan the QR code at the Tagomat kiosk, which produces a tag for their luggage in less than 10 seconds. The kiosks can be wall-mounted to save on floor space and have been fitted with an internal wireless router, meaning that they only require a physical power supply to function.
