Thyssenkrupp launches airport solutions website

Engineering experts Thyssenkrupp has launched its new airport solutions website following a string of airport contract wins.

Thyssenkrupp has helped boost airport mobility with various new contracts, including for more than 100 passenger boarding bridges at Heathrow, 49 bridges at San Francisco International Airport, 423 elevators in Dubai, and 73 moving walks in Madrid.

The new website showcases the company’s entire portfolio of innovations and solutions for the airport landscape, ranging from modernization and maintenance to customized passenger boarding bridges and state-of-the-art elevators.

Thyssenkrupp moves 1.8 billion passengers ever year via its boarding bridges, and is set to deliver 143 such bridges for Istanbul’s new mega-airport.

With air traffic at an all-time high, passenger numbers are expected to increase by 50%, reaching an estimated 7.2 billion by 2035.
