London Stansted Airport hosted its first music festival over the weekend (March 2-3) showcasing some of the UK’s best-known artists.

Performing in the departures lounge, TV personality, YouTuber and DJ performer Jack Maynard opened up the festival and delivered a live set for waiting passengers. Maynard was followed by London grime artist Jammer, who performed some of his most popular tracks. The artists were also joined on the day by bands The Magic Gang and Eliza and the Bear.

Lois Robertson, brand and marketing manager at London Stansted Airport, said, “It was incredibly exciting to see some of the UK’s best urban and rock artists such as Jammer and The Magic Gang perform at London Stansted this weekend. The Departures Live event aimed to celebrate some of the finest local musical talent out there and we’re delighted that many of our travelers got a first glimpse at some of their favorite acts ahead of their various appearances during this summer’s European Festival season.”
