Amsterdam Airport Schiphol in the Netherlands has been chosen as the Best European Airport by British business travelers for the 26th time. The winner was voted for by British readers of the Business Traveller, an international consumer magazine launched in 1976.

Maarten de Groof, vice president and CCO for Schiphol Airport, said, “We’re happy that British business travelers have once again, for the 26th time, named us the best airport in Europe. There are 125 flights between Schiphol and Great Britain each day, traveling to 26 airports in the UK. Great Britain was our single largest destination in 2014, involving some 8.2 million passengers. Within that passenger total, British business travelers constitute a vital target group for Schiphol.”

To further improve its services for business travelers, Amsterdam Schiphol recently made a number of investments to its infrastructure, including the construction of a new central security area and the ongoing renovation of Departure Lounge 2.
