Construction work on a new parking facility with a pet boarding service has started at Austin-Bergstrom International Airport in Texas, USA. The services called Park & Zoom and Bark & Zoom are being developed and operated by Scott Airport Parking, a local Austin business. Both projects are anticipated for completion in summer 2016.

Jim Smith, executive director, Austin-Bergstrom International Airport, said, “Scott Airport Parking brings a welcome new service to the airport – pet boarding, in addition to more parking spaces. We are pleased to be in a partnership to help bring these new amenities to our travelers.”

Park & Zoom will provide 2,000 covered parking spaces at the airport and will be located at Hotel Drive, opposite the Hilton Austin Airport Hotel.

Bark & Zoom will bring one-stop convenience to travelers who need someone to take care of their pets while they are away. The newly designed state-of-the-art pet resort will provide pets with outdoor play yards, a pet pool, and a dog and cat grooming area. Bark & Zoom will be conveniently located on five acres near the entrance to the airport. Its services will be available to the general public, not just those traveling through Austin-Bergstrom Airport.
