Data Modul has extended its product portfolio of Conrac information systems with the new 6170PD, which it will introduce at inter airport Europe 2015 held on October 6-9 in Munich, Germany. The indoor dust-proof series had been available in diagonals of 32in, 42in, 47in and 55in, and is now available with a 70in full HD display.

As with the series’ smaller displays, the new 70in device comes with non-reflective safety glass protecting the display against external influences of any kind. Together with the IP54-protected housing with additional sealing, it is the ideal solution for dust-laden and dirt-loaded applications such as airports. The device is equipped with the usual Conrac display functions such as a front sensor for automatic brightness adjustment.

The dust-proof and exchangeable display control box with integrated display and control electronics is mounted on the rear of the display. The direct control of the display via the industrial PC integrated in the display control box eliminates the need for additional scaler boards and power supplies. The reduced number of electronic components results in low power consumption and optimized energy efficiency and guarantees extreme reliability and excellent image quality. Depending on the requirements and application, the 6170PD is supplied with an integrated PC or as a monitor version.

The new 6170PD is immediately available and will be introduced at the inter airport Europe 2015 exhibition held at the Munich Trade Fair on October 6-9.
