The new facility will include a selection of renowned international restaurants as well as a number of local eateries, allowing passengers from all over the world to experience the flavors of Calgary. Local options include Japanese restaurant Hana Sushi, Indian outlet Green Chili, the Vin Room wine bar and Italian delicatessen Spolumbo’s among others. International options include a new restaurant from renowned TV chef Wolfgang Puck, as well as Burger King, Starbucks and Subway outlets.

The new International Terminal will also feature a mix of established Calgary Airport shopping concepts, as well as some new retailers. There will be two new large locations for duty free, each offering more than 5,000ft² of shopping for premium items including liquor, cosmetics, fragrances, fashion, electronics and imported sweets.

Stephan Poirier, senior vice president and chief commercial officer for Calgary Airport Authority, said, “We are excited about expanding Calgary Airport’s first-rate shopping and restaurant program. These additions, along with leading-edge technologies offered in the International Terminal, will offer passengers a completely new and enhanced experience.

“As an international hub, we are focused on finding the right variety of services to meet the needs of our diverse passenger mix, and it’s great to be able to give them exposure to a blend of local and international shopping options and flavors.”
