Concessionaire SSP Australia has partnered with local coffee suppliers Fonzie Abbott to open a new outlet in the Domestic Terminal at Brisbane Airport in Australia.

Fonzie Abbott is renowned for sourcing, roasting and serving some of the best coffee in Brisbane. For almost three years the company has been blending and roasting its own beans, and now supplies nearly 50 cafes from the Sunshine Coast to Byron Bay. They’ve been voted one of the ten best coffee shops in Brisbane and named ‘the best caffeine dealers in town’ by the Good Guide website.

Neil Johnson, retail assets manager of Brisbane Airport Corporation (BAC), the airport operator, said, “We are pleased Fonzie Abbott is bringing some of the best coffee in the city right to the airport. Travelers actually seek out high quality, artisan coffee and we know the addition of Fonzie Abbott to our Domestic Terminal offerings will be warmly welcomed.”

Dan Pappas, founder and part owner of Fonzie Abbott, said, “We’re humbled by the reaction to our coffee. We’ve always been passionate about good coffee, and we’re excited to be bringing that to Brisbane Airport. Surely if anyone deserves a good fix, it’s someone about to go on a long distance flight.”
