Japan Airlines (JAL) will expand its luxury Diamond Premier Lounge offering to include New Chitose Airport in Sapporo, Japan. The new lounge will be designed to reflect the best of Japanese culture, creating a space that is prestigious and refined. The airline currently operates one other Diamond Premier Lounge in Haneda Airport in Tokyo.

Alongside the new Diamond lounge, JAL is also planning to renovate its existing Sakura Lounge in New Chitose Airport’s domestic terminal. There are also plans to expand its future lounge offering at Osaka International and Fukuoka airports.

Construction work on both New Chitose Airport lounges will begin in November 2015 with a scheduled completion date of summer 2016.
