British independent lounge operator No1 Traveller is planning to double its capacity in London Gatwick Airport’s North and South terminals over the next year. The operator is also planning a redesign of its range of independent lounges to reflect the jet-set age of travel. Upgrades will take place at London Gatwick, London Heathrow, Birmingham and Edinburgh airports in the UK. To celebrate the redesign, No1 Traveller has launched a new sister website dedicated to the lounge experience at no1lounges.com.

Phil Cameron, founder and CEO of No1 Lounges, said, “Six years ago we started to pioneer common-user lounging in the UK and we haven’t stood still since. To ensure we remain the market leader we are making a big statement with our lounge brand refresh – inspired by the jet-set age of travel, a new-look website, and lounge upgrades. We want to show our guests just how serious we are about putting the glamour back into pre-flight.”

Guy Stephenson, chief commercial officer at London Gatwick, said, “We are very pleased that No1 Traveller will be expanding their offering to passengers visiting Gatwick. We work tirelessly to bring our passengers the very best experience working with brands that enhance every step of the journey. Our passengers continue to show us how much they enjoy the No1 Lounges already on offer with capacity for travelers set to double in the coming months.”
