Renovated Etihad lounge opens at Abu Dhabi International T1

Etihad Airways has reopened its newly renovated Premium Lounge in Terminal 1 (T1) at Abu Dhabi International Airport in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

The upgraded facility is open 24 hours a day and measures approximately 11,240ft² with seating for 134 guests. It features a range of facilities including a dedicated dining area, state-of-the-art business amenities, complimentary wi-fi, USB power outlets, bathrooms with shower facilities and a playroom for children.

Shane O’Hare, senior vice president, marketing, Etihad Airways, said, “This upgraded lounge embodies the contemporary design, attention to detail and customer focus synonymous with Etihad Airways. Our guests traveling from and transiting through Abu Dhabi Airport’s Terminal 3 (T3) and now T1 will start their journey with a superior lounge experience in a stylish and well equipped environment where they can relax and re-charge.”

Premium Lounge guests can take advantage of Etihad Airways’ signature food and beverage service with a choice of restaurant-style dining and a buffet, complemented by a wide selection of beverages.

The Six Senses Spa at the lounge has been completely refurbished and is available to use prior to boarding flights. Passengers can enjoy a refreshing complimentary 15-minute spa session, with a range of other treatments available by appointment.

The T1 Premium Lounge is open to Etihad Airways First and Business Class guests, qualifying Platinum Etihad Guest members and the equivalent tier loyalty program members of Etihad Airways’ partner airlines flying from Abu Dhabi.
