Swiss watchmaker Swatch has partnered with Zurich Airport in Switzerland to launch an art competition where passengers have the opportunity to win a watch from the company’s Grüezi All! Collection.

The ‘Swatch Loves Art – Zurich AirPainting’ event will run at the airport until September 27, 2015, turning Zurich Airport into an artist’s workshop. It will feature a number of specially selected Swiss artists who will be painting in the terminal for all travelers to see. Passengers can then vote on their favorite creation using social media, which will then enter them into a competition to win a new watch.

At the end of the event, the winning artist will be presented with the coveted ‘Swatch Award’. To kick-start the competition, the airport unveiled a dichroic glass, aluminum and light sculpture installed by renowned French-American artist Stephen Dean.
