Schneider Electric is showcasing its new Integrated Platform Operations Center (IPOC) at PTE World 2026 in London. The company said the system brings together energy systems, operational data and asset management into one platform to support real-time decision-making, improve efficiency and boost decarbonization efforts.
Built on software from Aveva, Schneider’s strategic partner, IPOC integrates energy, automation and operational data into a unified platform. The system is designed to connect airport stakeholders and processes, providing a consolidated view of operations.
In addition, IPOC integrates real-time energy data with operational information, allowing airports to better align energy consumption with demand without affecting the passenger experience.
Pauline Blot-Georges is global airport business director at Schneider Electric. In this interview filmed at PTE World 2026, Blot-Georges explains how the company aims to merge electrification, automation and digitalization, and support airport efficiency without compromising operations or sustainability goals.
“Decarbonization is a key point for airports,” she says. “There is the challenge of the increase in passenger numbers since Covid – airports have to extend and modernize [while bearing in mind] decarbonization.
“They cannot think about decarbonization as a future; they need to think about decarbonization now.”
As Blot-Georges explains, IPOC can be customized for specific use cases and can support operational coordination across different parts of the airport by providing a shared view of airside, terminal and landside activities. The system is also intended to improve disruption management by enabling earlier detection of issues and faster response times. It can be integrated into existing airport systems and shows data for various areas (e.g. operational, efficiency, security and sustainability) on a single view so users can track, monitor and control their automation decisions.
