The airports include two major hubs, Riyadh Airport and Jeddah Airport, five airports focused on international travel and tourism, six regional airports, six domestic airports and six remote airports, which serve a social or developmental purpose.</p>

<p style="font-weight: 400">The vTWR, which officially went live in February 2025, has been provided by Searidge Technologies in partnership with ADB Safegate and NATS. The companies have collaborated closely with the Qatar Civil Aviation Authority (QCAA) and the HIA team to support the Western Taxiway and Stand Development Project – an ambitious expansion that significantly increased the complexity of airside operations.</p>

<p style="font-weight: 400">The new agreement combines Leidos’s Examiner 3DX CT with Quadridox’s Delphi XRDI technology to provide airports with deeper insights into potential threats and better position them to keep pace with evolving regulatory requirements.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400">“Separately, these technologies provide high levels of threat detection,” said Nik Karnik, vice president and global security products division manager within Leidos’s commercial and international sector.</p>

<p style="font-weight: 400">Under the MoU, both organizations will explore a shared operational data platform that integrates information from airlines, ground handlers, ATC, government agencies and airport systems.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400">According to ADA, the system would help it to build a more connected and resilient operating model that is capable of earlier disruption detection, better resource optimization and smoother passenger journeys.</p>

<p style="font-weight: 400">The digital tool, which was launched on August 11, enables passengers to submit a claim, check its status in real time and receive automated updates 24/7 from any device by visiting the lost and found webpage. Previously, passengers had to call or email the information desk during business hours to report lost items.</p>

<p style="font-weight: 400">Starting in mid-October, the company’s eight-seat Auto-Shuttle will kick off work to transport passengers directly from the aircraft steps to the terminal building. In early January 2026, Aurrigo will follow this by introducing the Auto-DollyTug, a fully driverless vehicle designed to move cargo and baggage around airports.</p>
