US bank Capital One has revealed plans to open its first airport lounge, at Washington Dulles International Airport.

“When it opens, the lounge will be another way Capital One provides customers with unique travel benefits, along with exclusive access and experiences, in areas they are passionate about,” the bank said in a statement.

The 9,100ft2 (845m2) lounge will be beyond the airport’s TSA security checkpoint. It will be operated by Turkish company TAV Airports, which also manages Prime Class lounges internationally.

Amenities are expected to include an observation deck, dining facilities, workspaces, a conference room, a quiet room, a workout room, showers, spa services, and a kids’ playroom.
