At Passenger Terminal Expo 2026 in London, Veovo and Emu Analytics have announced a new partnership to integrate geospatial intelligence into airport operations, combining their platforms to support more coordinated and data-driven decision-making.
The collaboration brings together Veovo’s Intelligent Airport Platform with Emu Analytics’ real-time airfield visibility and alerting system. The companies said the integration is intended to move airports closer to a digital twin model, providing a continuously updated view of operations across the airport.
Airports are dealing with increasing passenger volumes, constrained resources and pressure to maintain performance. While large volumes of operational data are already available, the challenge is enabling teams to interpret and act on that information quickly.
Emu’s platform visualizes aircraft, vehicle movements, stand availability, taxiway use and weather conditions on a dynamic geospatial map. It also allows users to replay operational events to analyze the causes of delays or conflicts.
When combined with Veovo’s platform, which focuses on passenger flow, flight operations and resource planning, the system is designed to provide a more complete operational picture. Instead of relying on dashboards and data points alone, airport teams can view how operations are evolving in real time and how disruptions may develop.
The companies said the addition of a spatial layer helps teams better understand how different parts of the airport interact. For example, it can show how a delayed inbound flight may affect stand allocation or how weather conditions influence airfield movements.
The integration is intended to support airport operations centers and collaborative decision-making teams by providing a shared, visual source of information. The companies said this can enable earlier identification of bottlenecks and more coordinated responses across airside and terminal operations.
Veovo CEO James Williamson said, “By combining Veovo’s decision-intelligence platform with Emu’s real-time airfield operational dashboard and alerting capabilities, we’re giving operations teams a clearer, shared view of their environment – one that connects predictions, constraints and real-time activity and underpins airports’ move to total airport management.”
Richard Vilton, the CEO of Emu Analytics, added, “Operational data becomes most valuable when teams can explore it visually and in context. Our technology works hand in hand with Veovo’s operations platform to help airports understand how events on the ground relate to each other, supporting more resilient operations.”
The partnership forms part of Veovo’s broader total airport management approach, which focuses on aligning operational data, predictions and decision-making across airport stakeholders.
