Beonic is impressing visitors at PTE World 2026 in London with its expertise in spatial tech.
Drawing on its background in shopping malls, Beonic interprets spatial data – the movement of passengers – and uses these insights to instruct airport operations on how to deploy staff to the greatest effect.
“The airport wants to understand and manage the passenger experience and they want to control the costs to serve them,” explains Beonic CEO Billy Tucker. “We’re able to balance these two things.”
He continues, “Someone said to me once, ‘When you’ve seen one airport, you’ve seen one airport.’ They’re all different. An airport might want to reduce costs, improve the passenger experience or simply get passengers through to retail quicker. Longer dwell time at retail means higher non-aeronautical revenue and in a lot of ways, airports depend on that.”
Tucker went on to give an excellent demonstration of the passenger flow technology in action. Watch the video to see it for yourself!
