German airport operator Flughafen München has completed the transformation of what was formerly known as the Atlantic Lounge in Terminal 1 (T1) at Munich Airport.

Airport Lounge World, as it has been renamed, has been set across two levels covering more than 1,700m² (18,300ft²) of floor space. The modern surroundings can comfortably accommodate up to 200 passengers with dedicated communal, work and resting areas.

Large-screen TVs and a wide variety of printed media provide entertainment and news throughout the lounge. Alongside a complimentary buffet and beverages, amenities include showers, meditation rooms and a separate smoking area.

Opening on October 29, Airport Lounge World will be open to all passengers, regardless of ticket class or airline, for a fee of €48 (US$55) per person.

Located on levels 6 and 7 in Terminal 1 (B Zone), Airport Lounge World will be open daily from 6:00am until 11:00pm.
