TAV Operation Services has won a tender to operate two lounges at Riga International Airport in Latvia. The lounges cover a combined area of approximately 5,800ft² and have recently been renovated by the Turkish-based company. The contract is expected to run until 2020.

Bora İşbulan, general manager, TAV Operation Services, said, “TAV Operation Services continues to expand its portfolio in lounge operations. We have achieved a significant growth outside of TAV with the tenders we have been successively awarded in Germany, Oman and Tunisia since last year. Riga marks the latest round of this success story.

“Riga International Airport’s passenger lounges have been quickly renovated and we have started offering the privileges of TAV to the passengers.

“Today, we have become the operator of 30 lounges at 17 airports in eight countries. We will continue to search for new opportunities globally, especially in the Middle East and North Africa, which are our target regions, during the next period.”
