Turkish airport operator TAV has acquired a €162m (US$184m) loan from DenizBank for the operation and development of Milas-Bodrum Airport in Turkey. TAV took over domestic operations at the airport in July 2014 and is set to acquire the international operations in October 2015.
Sani Şener, president and CEO, TAV Airports, said, “TAV will operate the overall terminal facilities of Milas-Bodrum Airport until end of the 2035. We believe Bodrum will become the fourth largest city in Turkey within the next 20 years and are collaborating with all of our stakeholders in order to create tourism activity all year round. I would like to express my sincere thanks to DenizBank for supporting us with the long-term finance loan and for having confidence in our projects.”
