The Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority (MNAA) has announced two new director appointments aimed at strengthening its operations and finance teams as passenger growth and infrastructure development continue at Nashville International Airport.
The authority oversees both Nashville International Airport (BNA) and John C Tune Airport.
Caleb Douglas has been promoted to director of operations planning and project coordination, and Samantha Hamilton has been appointed director of financial planning – capital.
Doug Kreulen, president and CEO of MNAA, said, “The aviation industry experience held by these newly appointed individuals positions them to provide decisive leadership on the airport’s behalf during this pivotal period of our growth that depends on strategic cross-departmental coordination and execution of our financial capital. We look forward to seeing firsthand the positive impact they will have on supporting our mission and enhancing the passenger experience as we continue to build a world-class airport for a world-class city.”
In his new role, Douglas will oversee coordination of projects linked to the airport’s development program, including the US$3bn growth and expansion plan New Horizon at Nashville International Airport.
Douglas joined MNAA in 2021 as an operations specialist and later served as senior operations specialist, terminal operations supervisor and operations construction manager. In his previous role, he acted as a liaison between airport operations and construction teams on major projects. Before joining MNAA, he held several operational roles at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.

Prior to joining MNAA, Hamilton worked at Dallas Fort Worth International Airport, where she spent more than a decade in roles related to capital budgeting, financial analysis and project controls. Her work included managing the airport’s rolling 10-year capital improvement program valued at more than US$10bn.
