Retailers and restaurants at Denver International Airport (DIA) in Colorado, USA, are offering free ‘summer travel packs’ to airport customers who are at least 18 years old and who spend more than US$20.

The summer travel packs are valued at up to US$16 and include items such as lip balm, hand sanitizer, wet wipes, tissues, headphones, neck pillows, eye masks and more.

Colleen Forst, president of the DIA Concessionaires Association, said, “As a group, we wanted to reach out and say ‘thank you’ to our summer travelers who come through this airport throughout the year, but especially at this time of year.

“We know that when traveling in the summer with family or groups people may forget to pack a few of those extra comfort items that make the trip that much easier. This is a great way for the retailers to say thank you and help make travel that much more comfortable for our most loyal customers.”

To receive a free summer travel pack, customers simply present their original receipt from participating vendors to a store representative. Travel packs will be distributed to qualifying purchasers while supplies last.
