Vinci Airports subsidiary Aerodom has partnered with AirportLabs to implement a new digital infrastructure across its network of six airports in the Dominican Republic.
The rollout will include the deployment of AirportLabs’ SkyCore AODB and Allegra RMS systems, alongside its Airport Community app, as part of a wider effort to modernize operations and improve coordination across the network.
Aerodom’s airports, including Las Américas International Airport in Santo Domingo, handle more than 16 million passengers annually. The company said the investment in digital systems is intended to support rising traffic levels and replace legacy platforms with a unified, cloud-based environment.
Damien Stephan, CFO of Aerodom, said, “This implementation is an important step in improving efficiency across our six airports. As traffic levels continue to increase, our objective is simple: to streamline processes, introduce a higher level of automation and support real-time operations through better coordination.”
He added that consistent data sharing between stakeholders is key to improving overall operational performance.
The SkyCore AODB system will act as a central data platform, integrating operational information and automating workflows in real time. AirportLabs said the system is intended to reduce reliance on manual processes and provide a single source of operational data.
Allegra RMS will be used to manage airport resources such as gates, stands and check-in counters. The system uses machine learning to allocate resources dynamically, replacing static scheduling with real-time adjustments based on operational conditions.
Aerodom’s Florian Simon said, “The integration of SkyCore AODB and Allegra RMS improves the way we manage core resources such as gates and stands, while giving our operational teams accurate, real-time information to drive day-to-day operations.”
The Airport Community app will provide a mobile platform for operational teams, enabling real-time communication and coordination across airport stakeholders.
Aerodom and AirportLabs said the combined systems are intended to create a more connected operational environment, supporting faster decision-making and improved passenger flow.
The companies said that the partnership is part of a broader effort to enhance operational efficiency and prepare the Dominican Republic’s airport network for continued growth in passenger demand.
