<p>The authority oversees both Nashville International Airport (BNA) and John C Tune Airport.</p>
<p>Caleb Douglas has been promoted to director of operations planning and project coordination, and Samantha Hamilton has been appointed director of financial planning – capital.</p>
<p>Doug Kreulen, president and CEO of MNAA, said, “The aviation industry experience held by these newly appointed individuals positions them to provide decisive leadership on the airport’s behalf during this pivotal period of our growth that depends on strategic cross-departmental coordination and execution of our financial capital.</p>

<p>The memorandum of understanding (MoU) between Skyports and the Jeju Provincial Council signed on September 5, was announced during the opening ceremony of the 2025 Jeju Global Future Aerospace Confesta, held at Jeju Shinhwa World. The agreement will pave the way for AAM operations in Jeju, ahead of anticipated eVTOL operations launching by 2028.</p>

<p>The FJ$26m (US$11.5m) investment in the new BHS includes an award of FJ$8.1m (US$3.6m) to Alstef for the supply and installation of a conveyor belt system, and represents one of the largest operational upgrades at Nadi International.</p>
<p>In 2024, the airport welcomed 2.9 million passengers, and passenger volumes are projected to rise to 5.7 million by 2033 and eight million by 2048, underscoring an urgent need for future-ready airport systems.</p>

<p>This announcement comes as the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS) and Workforce Singapore (WSG) have jointly published a jobs transformation report for the Singapore aviation sector, to take stock of its current workforce, identify future trends and develop programs to help Singaporeans seize future opportunities in the sector, which is expected to grow robustly over the next few decades, including the opening of Singapore Changi Airport Terminal 5 in the mid-2030s.</p>

<p style="font-weight: 400">The report assessed 28 UK airports with more than 150,000 passengers in the calendar year 2024 against a standard accessibility framework.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400">In total, 11 airports received the &#8216;very good rating&#8217;: Belfast City, East Midlands, Newcastle and Teeside all retained this rating from the previous year; Aberdeen, Belfast International, Bournemouth, Exeter and London Luton all improved on last year’s ‘Good’ rating; and Cardiff and London Gatwick both improved significantly after being ranked as ‘needs improvement’ last year.</p>
