CIAA seeking contractors for the expansion of Owen Roberts International

LinkedIn +

The Cayman Islands Airports Authority (CIAA) is looking for prequalification applications from building contractors for the expansion of Owen Roberts International Airport in the Cayman Islands.

Applications that achieve prequalification status may be invited to submit a tender for the project, which will be for the second phase of construction works for the airport’s terminal renovation and expansion project.

General contractors are required to meet the eligibility criteria, which is set out as a pass/fail section in the prequalification documents. The criteria for evaluating and scoring the responses are included in the prequalification documents. Particular attention will be paid to prior relevant experience on high value, multi-phase projects including those carried out in existing facilities and with strict safety and security requirements.

Prequalification documents can be collected from the reception of the Public Works Department at 370 North Sound Road, George Town, Grand Cayman.

Contractors are advised to carefully review all of the prequalification documents and confirm within three days of receipt that they have received all the documents by returning Tender Form RFPQ A.
