Plaza Premium opens Flight Club restaurant at Kuala Lumpur International

Hospitality provider Plaza Premium Group (PPG) has officially opened its new Flight Club airport dining concept at Kuala Lumpur International Airport in Sepang, Malaysia.

Datuk Badlisham Ghazali, managing director of Malaysia Airports Holdings Berhad (MAHB), the airport operator, said, “In our 17 years of partnership with Plaza Premium Group, it is a delight to note that our passion of introducing healthy and delectable food for airport travelers has come to fruition.

“Flight Club is indeed a fantastic addition to the range of services and facilities that we currently offer to our passengers at the airport. It also allows us to stay ahead among our peers in enriching travelers’ dining experience with its unique concept of eating well and eating healthy when they travel through Kuala Lumpur International.”

The new restaurant covers approximately 3,200ft² and contains seating for up to 110 travelers. It features a buffet salad bar, dessert display counter and a live cooking kitchen station where guests can enjoy an interactive dining experience while awaiting their flight. The large windows in the dining area offer expansive views of the runway and a take-away counter offers a grab and go menu for passengers who are more pressed for time. There are also charging stations, a flight information display board, TVs, complimentary wi-fi and a selection of magazines and newspapers to further enhance the passenger experience.

The Flight Club menu combines healthy dishes from both western and international cuisine and includes dishes such as hydroponic baby cos Caesar’s Style, 1824 beef cheek, rotisserie chicken, traditional shepherd’s pie, grilled sutchi fillet, squid ink pasta, golden fish fillet, vermicelli soup, nasi lemak and nasi goreng.
