As part of its Terminal 1 (T1) improvement program, Sydney Airport in Australia is looking for responses to its request for proposal (RFP) for six new food and beverage brands to join its Pier C Departures precinct.

The new RFP seeks to uncover a selection of bar and café style tenancies, street eats from recognized brands, and international styles of fast and fresh food. The opportunity for six tenancies include a full service bistro, licensed bar, full service café, gourmet urban fast food, a coffee and light snack offering, and a fast and fresh Asian cuisine. Pier C Departures catered for more than three million passengers in 2014.

Glyn Williams, general manager retail, Sydney Airport, said, “Since commencing our T1 improvements program in early January, we’ve seen an impressive array of compelling food and beverage operators who recognize the unique opportunity to establish their brand within Australia’s busiest airport. The Pier C Departures RFP is an exciting opportunity to be part of enhancing the food and dining offering at Sydney Airport, providing greater choice and value for passengers.”
