Barcelona-based engineering company, Adelte, has launched its new line of preconditioned air units (PCA) featuring full inverter technology, at Passenger Terminal Expo 2015 in Paris, France.

This new equipment has been specially designed for heating and cooling a wide variety of stationed aircraft in all climatic conditions, and is up to 35% more efficient than standard PCA units available on the market.

The company says this high efficiency also leads to a significant decrease in operational costs, refrigerant load and CO2 emissions, which converts Adelte’s new inverter PCA into even more environmentally friendly apron equipment.

Adelte will also be showcasing its full range of passenger boarding bridges (PBBs) with special emphasis on its technical services (technical inspection, maintenance, upgrade and refurbishment) that it says ensure continuous effectiveness on the apron and guarantee safety and comfort for passengers and operators.
