The doors to PTE World will open on Tuesday, March 17, at Excel London, bringing the airport industry to life with fresh ideas and cutting-edge innovations. Here’s a sneak peek at what awaits visitors on the show floor at this year’s event.
goDigitag: digital baggage tags to improve the passenger experience
goDigitag will be showcased on the Embross booth, demonstrating how digital baggage solutions can complement next-generation self-service passenger journeys. Designed in alignment with IATA’s Electronic Bag Tag (EBT) Implementation Guide, goDigitag is a reusable, battery-less electronic baggage tag that enables a seamless, contactless, paperless check-in experience while supporting operational efficiency for airlines. Its purpose-built design supports consistent tag orientation during handling, helping to achieve high read reliability and contributing to smoother baggage processing across the journey.
At Booth B350, discussions will focus on how digital baggage solutions can integrate into existing airline and airport infrastructure with minimal modification, supporting passenger convenience, operational performance and sustainability goals. The joint showcase with Embross reflects a shared commitment to advancing seamless, end-to-end passenger journeys across the aviation ecosystem.
Port Polska in the spotlight: one of Europe’s most ambitious transportation projects
Visitors to the Port Polska booth will learn all about one of the most ambitious transportation projects in Europe. Developed by the Centralny Port Komunikacyjny, the Port Polska investment program aims to create a modern national transportation system in Poland that efficiently integrates air, rail and road options.
For the first time ever, visitors will be able to see the final physical mock-up of the airport’s transportation hub – the heart of the future complex. This impressive 1:1000 scale model reveals how the passenger terminal, railway station and bus station will seamlessly connect, allowing passengers to move effortlessly between air, rail and road transportation. The model also shows contact stands, landside interfaces and the surrounding airport city area, offering a realistic sense of how this next-generation multimodal hub will operate after it opens in 2032.
Drop by Booth D289 to explore the model up close and speak with our experts about the future of this innovative airport and terminal.
Sculptural seating solution from Green Furniture Concept
At Booth D230, Green Furniture Concept will introduce Pelago, a newly launched seating solution designed to create more human-centered passenger experiences. Inspired by the Nordic archipelago, Pelago turns the idea of scattered islands into sculptural seating formations that naturally create zones within busy terminals.
Unlike traditional linear seating, its modular design offers flexibility for dynamic airport environments and can be easily rearranged to respond to changing passenger flows or seasonal peaks. Integrated planters bring greenery into the space, adding a calming atmosphere.
By combining operational flexibility with inviting design, Pelago helps airports transform waiting areas into welcoming spaces for rest, connection and a more comfortable passenger journey.
Fresh insight and inspiration from NACO
NACO will deliver a series of dynamic 30‑minute mini masterclasses at Booth E166, bringing fresh insight and inspiration to the show floor at PTE World. Across all three days of the show, the company’s airport planning and operations experts will explore some of the industry’s most pressing themes – from airport masterplanning and data‑driven operations to future-ready baggage systems, workforce access innovation and the evolving landscape of passenger experience.
Visitors are also invited to join NACO at 10:45 on Thursday, March 19, for a special celebration of the Kinshasa International Airport development, together with project partners InfraRose and Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (SOM). Come and toast this transformative project and see some of the key highlights before InfraRose’s Sanjeev Guness and SOM’s Jordan Pierce take to the conference stage at 11:10.
