Concessionaire Relay has opened a new TRIB’s café in Terminal 1 (T1) of Nice-Côte d’Azur Airport in France.

The opening is part of a wider €180m (US$205m) contract that will see Relay and fellow concessionaire SSP open over 20 new food and beverage concepts in T1 and Terminal 2 (T2) by 2017.

TRIB’s café operates on a mixed self-service and assisted point-of-sale basis, where passengers can choose from a wide range of pastries, salads, sandwiches and desserts to go, or from a selection of hot meals to eat in. The new seating area also provides travelers with power points to charge personal devices such as smartphones and tablets.

To celebrate the opening of the café, TRIB’s will be running a ‘selfie competition’ running from March 17-23, 2015.
