Food and beverage operator SSP Canada has opened a new Wahlburgers casual dining restaurant and bar in Terminal 1 (T1) at Toronto Pearson International Airport in Ontario, Canada. The renowned restaurant chain is owned by chef Paul Wahlberg in partnership with two of his brothers, actors Donnie and Mark Wahlberg.

The new restaurant covers approximately 2,700ft² and offers passengers a casual dining menu including ground beef burgers, a variety of fresh-cut salads, tator tots and Alma’s macaroni salad.

Paul Wahlberg said, “Toronto is an incredible city with an authentic, diverse food culture. We’re delighted to be opening our second restaurant in Toronto and to be welcoming the passengers of Toronto Pearson to Wahlburgers.”

Donnie Wahlberg added, “Paul and I are incredibly proud of our team here and thrilled to be working with our SSP partners in bringing Wahlburgers to its first airport location. We promise to treat each and every passenger as a member of the Wahlberg family, giving them the best possible service.”

Michael Svagdis, CEO of SSP Canada, said, “As SSP continues to invest in our operations at Toronto Pearson, we also continue to work hard to develop innovative brand partnerships that bring passengers the best dining concepts of the North American region. We’re delighted with our new brand partnership with Wahlburgers, and delighted to offer their exceptional food to the passengers of T1.”
