Domodedovo unveils 3D maps

Moscow Domodedovo Airport has added interactive 3D maps to its official app, to help passengers find their way around the airport.

The maps show all levels of the terminal building, the location of cafes, restaurants, and shops as well as information and check-in desks, gates and entries. The new maps indicate car parks and the app now provides a detailed scheme of both airport landside and territory, and can generate a route from a car park to a check-in desk and then to the gate.

The app also enables passengers to monitor their flight status through push notifications and to check a public transportation schedule to and from the airport. The DME app with interactive maps is available for both Android and iOS phones.

Moscow Domodedovo plans to launch 3D maps on its official website in the near future.
