PT World will host an exclusive webinar, in association with Schneider Electric, titled ‘How to decarbonize airport operations: Real insights, real actions, real airport results’ on Wednesday 25 February at 10:00am London time (GMT), 11.00am (CET). Register now (free) to secure your place!
Airports worldwide are under increasing pressure to reduce emissions while maintaining safe, reliable, and cost-efficient operations. Decarbonization is no longer an optional ambition – it is a strategic necessity to remain competitive, compliant, and future-ready.
In this exclusive PT World webinar, Richard Fuller Miet, engineering sustainability strategy lead at Gatwick Airport, will be joined by Pauline Blot-Georges, global business direcetor, airport, at Schneider Electric. Together, they will share first-hand operational insights, concrete lessons learned, and proven strategies that help airports accelerate their decarbonization journey without compromising performance.
Attendees will learn:
• Why decarbonizing airport operations is critical — and how leading airports are turning sustainability mandates into operational advantages;
• How to build a realistic, data-driven decarbonization roadmap, including electrification, energy management, microgrids, and smart utility networks;
• First-hand testimony from Gatwick Airport, showcasing practical actions, successes, and key considerations when implementing decarbonization programs in a live airport environment.
Speaker details:
