Concessionaire Airmall has opened a new seafood restaurant in the D/E connector at Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall (BWI Marshall) Airport in Maryland.

R&R Seafood Bar, a spinoff from local favorite Obrycki’s, offers a selection of starters, salads, sandwiches and sides along with breakfast offerings like the Crab Omelet made with fresh crab meat. Obrycki’s famous crab cakes, a Baltimore tradition since 1944, are available fried or broiled and made with fresh jumbo lump and lump blue crab meat. From the raw bar, guests can choose from a lineup that includes fresh shucked oysters, little neck clams and steamed seasoned shrimp.

In addition to a full bar offering beer, wine and cocktails, R&R Seafood Bar serves the Crabby Mary, its signature house drink, made with Absolut Peppar vodka in a glass rimmed with Obrycki’s spicy seafood seasoning and garnished with a crab claw.

Brett Kelly, vice president of Airmall Maryland, said, “We are excited to welcome an innovative concept from a team whose restaurants are synonymous with Chesapeake flavor. R&R Seafood Bar brings the taste of a Maryland crab house to the terminal in a fresh, modern setting.”

Ricky Smith, chief executive officer for BWI Marshall Airport, said, “R&R Seafood Bar is an important local addition to our concessions program. From the same family that has operated the award-winning Obrycki’s for many years here at BWI Marshall, the new R&R Seafood Bar brings the flavor of Maryland seafood to more passengers.”
