Airport Lounge Development (ALD), a shared-use airport lounge operator within the USA, has opened the first phase of its new lounge in Terminal E at Boston Logan International Airport in Massachusetts. The Club’s opening marks ALD’s second lounge at Boston Logan International and its 14th location worldwide.
ALD provides travelers with a tailored lounge experience for a fixed fee regardless of the airline, class of ticket or affinity membership. As well as providing an alternative to dedicated airline lounges, ALD also caters for airline carriers who do not operate their own lounge at the airport.
Nancy Knipp, senior vice president, ALD, said, “Boston Logan International Airport celebrated a new passenger record last year welcoming 36 million passengers. With the airport now serving 53 international and 75 domestic destinations, we see this as the perfect time to increase our presence in Boston, delivering passengers with the best lounge experience available.”
The opening of ALD’s The Club in Terminal E has been divided into two phases. The current phase features amenities such as premium alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, snacks, wi-fi, power outlets, flat-screen televisions and a variety of reading materials.
In summer 2017, the second phase of renovations will transform 3,506ft² of space with seating for 67 guests. New restrooms and shower facilities will also allow guests to refresh after a long flight.
