Southampton launches media campaign

To coincide with its runway extension planning application going live, Southampton Airport has launched a campaign highlighting 12 reasons for the public to support its local airport.

The campaign can be seen on the airport’s social media channels, and is intended to encourage followers and passengers to share and engage with each other.

Commenting on the campaign, Neil Garwood, managing director at Southampton Airport, said, “With our crucial planning application having just been submitted to Eastleigh Borough Council, we thought it was a great time to share with our current and prospective passengers, as well as neighbors, the many advantages that this runway extension will bring to both Southampton and the south coast as a whole.”

The ‘12 Reasons why to Love Southampton Airport’ campaign will also be shown on display screens across the airport.
