John F Kennedy International Airport’s Terminal 4 has partnered with Jabbrrbox, a workplace solutions company, to provide the more than 21.5 million travelers passing through the terminal each year with private, technology-equipped connected workspaces.

Passengers can rent the sleek, private work booths to gain access to wi-fi, USB charging, conference and video call capabilities, Bluetooth connectivity for hands-free calling, and more. Located near gate A6, the booths include speakers for music, screen-sharing abilities, flight-tracking tools, terminal maps, and a photobooth app. Users can rent the Jabbrrbox in 30-minute increments at US$15 (£11.50) per 30 minutes. A wi-fi password and a door code are provided at the time of reservation.

“Our passengers are constantly on the move, and they need great places where they can work on the fly – make phone and video calls, finish an important memo, or just catch up on emails,” said Roel Huinink, president and CEO of JFKIAT, the company that operates T4. “We’re excited to partner with Jabbrrbox to provide our passengers with an innovative space for today’s high-tech world traveler.”
