Concessionaire Airmall USA has partnered with travel app Flio to provide passengers at Boston Logan International Airport in Massachusetts with easy access to airport wi-fi, flight information and retail and dining promotions.

The Flio app provides registered customers with one-click access to official free wi-fi at 400 airports globally, including 50 US airports, as well as live flight information at 900 airports.

Michael Caro, vice president of Airmall Boston, said, “Airmall continues to enhance the traveling experience by embracing tech innovations like Flio that make travel more convenient and rewarding. We are excited to partner with Flio to offer an opportunity for travelers to experience all that Airmall Boston has to offer, and also put global airport information at their fingertips.”

Alongside its practical applications, Flio also provides travelers with a number of promotional offers for retail, dining and other amenities at the airport. Deals on offer at Boston Logan Airport include 25% off any purchase at Metalsmiths Sterling, 10% off meals at Vineyard Grille and Cisco Brew Pub, US$5 off any purchase of US$45 or more at Be Relax, and 10% off any two fragrances at International Shoppes.

Andy Watson, chief revenue officer and co-founder of Flio, said, “Airmall has been quick to spot the opportunity and its potential in reaching and enhancing services for an international audience. Airports recognize the value of a fully fledged app solution that not only reaches their own customer base, it provides access to travelers from all over the world. Flio is that one app for all airports.”
