Satellite images of Colorado landmarks unveiled in exhibit at Denver International

Denver International Airport in Colorado, USA, has unveiled a new exhibit featuring dozens of satellite images of iconic Colorado locations as part of its ongoing art and culture program.

The Centennial State from Space exhibit was produced by DigitalGlobe, a provider of high-resolution satellite images, aerial photos and geospatial content, and contains images taken from five different satellites positioned more than 400 miles above the Earth.

It features several iconic Colorado locations including Coors Field, the Air Force Academy, agricultural fields in Monte Vista and more.

The exhibit can be seen at the Concourse A, Y-Juncture Gallery, and will be in place until September 2016. The exhibit is on loan from Wings Over the Rockies Air & Space Museum.
